The Board of Directors would like to thank each and every one of you for your patience and understanding during the last few months as we have worked together to make our association viable. As a new organization we have been transitioning and have tried out several locations in our hunt for a permanent home for our monthly educational luncheons.
As announced on the site, we have just chosen a new location, and starting in July, the Encino Glen will be the new home for our monthly luncheons! This new location is a professional and well established banquet facility, and helps us to achieve our goal of making this an organization of higher learning, knowledge, value and camaraderie.
Strategic planning is a necessary element for business success. To better serve you and our industry, we have evaluated our cost of doing business over the last few months, and we have settled on a monthly luncheon and continuing education price of $30 a month for members that will start in August for the 8-20-10 luncheon. This price will apply to those who RSVP and pre-pay their seat "prior" to the date of the luncheon. The price for non-members will be $40 per month for those who RSVP and pre-pay their seat "prior" to the date of the luncheon. If you register as a member between now and 8-31-10, your $50 annual membership will automatically be extended through 12-31-11, so become a member for the annual price of $50.00 and save money!
We value your attendance as well as the time that everyone takes to get to the monthly luncheon, as we all have very busy schedules. Our new location is set up to accommodate smaller as well as larger crowds, however, one lesson learned in June was the time it took to process the number of folks who attended without a reservation, as well as the cost of ordering and serving an additional lunch. We will never turn anyone away, however starting this month, those arriving without a reservation at the door will be charged $45.00, whether you are a member or not. So please email Christina Bardelli at ahrcdefense@gmail.com and reserve your space early!
One last newsworthy item! We are offering CE not only to the industry Hearing Reps who attend our monthly sessions, but also to Claims Professionals within our industry who need continuing education units every year. We are accredited to provide CE for Claims Professionals and we welcome you!
